When:  9:00 am to 10:00 am (Chandler, Nico, & Br. Napoli left at 11:00 am)

Requirements Completed:

• Repeat the Pledge of Allegiance (Boy Scout, 4)
• Demonstrate the Scout sign, salute, and handshake (Boy Scout, 5)
• Demonstrate tying the square knot, a joining knot (Boy Scout, 6)
• Understand and agree to live by the Scout Oath or Promise, Law, motto, slogan, and the Outdoor Code (Boy Scout, 7)
• Repeat from memory and explain in your own words the Scout Oath, Law, motto, and slogan (Tenderfoot, 7)

(Chandler and Nico also completed the following)

• Describe the Scout badge (Boy Scout, 8)
• Participate in a Scoutmaster conference (Boy Scout, 10)
• Demonstrate how to tie the following knots and tell their uses: two half hitches and taut-line hitch (Tenderfoot, 4b)
• Explain the rules of safe hiking, both on the highway and cross-country, during the day and at night.  Explain what to do if you are lost (Tenderfoot, 5)
